If there's one thing a Disney fanatic struggles with, it's finding ways to store or display your souvenirs and merchandise. I have acquired quite the collection of Minnie ear headbands, and until recently I piled them in a basket inside my closet. It wasn't practical or organized. That's when I stumbled upon this cute acrylic headband display on Amazon.
Arriving in a compact package..
I had no idea what to expect when I was notified that my package had been delivered inside my mailbox. When I peered inside there was only a flat envelope. Where's my display? Was it delivered somewhere else by accident or what is really inside this flat envelope? Silly me ignored the *assembly is required* notation on Amazon. Included in the package where 2 flat acrylic side pieces, 6 acrylic rods, 12 screws, a mini screwdriver. The acrylic side pieces came with protective plastic cling to prevent scratches in transit. Mine arrived with all the correct pieces and in perfect condition. Assembly was a breeze and took me under 5 minutes to finish. I think the step that took me the longest was pulling the protective plastic off the acrylic sides. Scroll to the end for a video of me assembling the display.

Pulling Out The Ears
After blowing off the dust that had been collecting on my Minnie ears, it was time to put the display to the test. It felt sturdy, but would it hold some of my heaviest ears and would they stay on? Absolutely!! In fact I was able to fit 6 of my bulkiest ears on it easily. I only purchased one display to start with, but I will need a couple more for the remainder of my collection. On average I would say it could fit 8 pairs of Minnie Ears if they were pushed closely together. I like to leave a little space between each headband so that the textures of the different ears don't affect the others.
Not a smudge-proof solution
I love the sleek look of the clear acrylic and it will match any room or style. It is sturdy and compact enough to fit on shelves and dressers, and it fits a decent amount of ears.
While this display is almost perfect, there is one downfall... the fingerprints and smudges. Clear acrylic is so prone to smudges so I knew that was a risk when purchasing, and this is definitely not something that would ever prevent me from buying more. You just have to do a nice wipe down after assembling and as needed during regular house cleaning.
Final thoughts...
If you're looking for an inexpensive way to display your adorable Minnie ears, look no further. I think I snagged this one for just under $10, and I don't think you'll find a better value.
